These Fern Sprig Bar Studs were handcrafted entirely from sterling silver. The bars were cut from thick sterling sheet and textured to have a weathered, rustic feel. The sides of each have been given my tree bark texture. Tiny springs of fern were placed and soldered to the face of each stud. These sprigs are all unique and cast from real ferns. These real casting maintain the organic texture and beauty of the real deal.
Each pair was given a dark patina and a matte finish before just the ferns were polished to a bright shine. Each of the studs measures half of an inch. They have each been coated in a thin layer of jewelers wax to protect the finish.
